During a run this past Monday I got to see wild turkeys.
Did you know that you need to take a course to get a special license to hunt turkey?........... that's in addition to your regular hunting license. Don't know why though?!
I saw horses.
I can't remember the last time I saw Dairy Cattle........ during our travels Beef Cattle tended to be prevalent.
Cows are so curious.
They must belong to the Borg collective (ha ha). Once a cow spots you, it's not long before the whole heard is looking.

There definitely are so many animals to be seen everywhere. I recently saw a weasel stick his head out of the dirt. Also, have you ever ran next to a herd of cows? It's absolutely amazing. They seemingly grow very concerned (who knows if they really do) and start running furiously alongside you. Extremely amusing.

It's generally only birds that I get to see while I'm out running - yesterday it was ducks, ibis, a few galahs and some pale rosellas. But even if it's only birds it makes the run more interesting.
I'm certainly going to have to try running alongside the cows...... That would be fun :D

I love the animals and I am against the hunting. I have grown my children, and now my grandson, teaching the respect for the nature and for all kind of animals.
