They have the softest fur.
These two were posing for me. Hee hee. The one on the right cracked me up....... The face is priceless.
I'm so glad that they had been shorn. It would have been a whole different experience otherwise.
I had never seen anyone spinning Alpaca Fiber....... Actually, I've never seen anyone spinning anything before.
There are alpaca socks, mitts, hats, insoles, and pretty much anything you can think of.
Alpaca poop facts:
- Can be used to fertilize your garden.
- Does not smell (I can attest to that).
- Is a natural deer deterrent.
Gotta love learning about alpacas.

I've never seen a shorn alpaca before. They're a little funnier to look at than an unshorn one. But either way they would have to have the prettiest eyes of any species in the animal kingdom. They have lashes most girls would kill for.
I love, love, love alpacas, they are cute beyond belief! I have never seen them shorn though. Neat.
