I am right back where I started....... Should have never switched.
I ordered two pairs of the Nike Structure Triax +15 online (lovin' the pink ones).
Had to drive 1.5 hours to pick them up in Port Huron, Michigan.
Well worth it, as I paid $170 US for both pairs. I usually pay $150 for one pair in Canada.
After picking up the shoes, and a leisurely lunch, I picked up some groceries at Sam's Club.
Win, win, win.
Gotta wonder why things are (usually) so much cheaper in the United States.

So funny how often we return to things we're comfortable with!
I often wonder why everything seems so much cheaper overseas. My running shoes cost me around $250AUD. But when I order them from Wiggle (free delivery) I get them for around $120.
It's a shame that prices are so high here in Canada, it really deters me from putting my money back into our economy.
I so hear you on that count! I'm looking at a pair of Inov8 Flyte 230 shoes primarily for CrossFit. I tried them on at Running Free and absolutely loved them. They even fit with my orthotics that I may use in them if the feet are tired or if the WOD includes excessive running. The price tag is absolutely ridiculous! I was hoping for cheaper given what I have seen on the US sites for price... Too bad Fred doesn't plan on coming to Sulphur Springs... :(
Hi Gailanne!
Good to hear from you! I hope Fred and his wife are doing well.
Fingers crossed so you can find your shoes at a decent price!!!
I feel so horrible Char. I've been personally replying to all your comments. I just realized that your email address is not hooked up to your message profile. Sorry about that!!!!
I like them!!
I hate that running shoes are so expensive
Aw, well, I'm glad after all that you know what you like and what works for you.
Thanks Green Girl!
