The rest of the journey went pretty quickly.
We managed to have a visit, and some Authentic Texas BBQ, with Derek and his wife Marla. So happy that they were able to arrange their schedule to accommodate us. We had a great time.

Vacation is over..... No More Excuses!
I have compiled a list of races that look like fun....... check out the new tab at the top for the list.
Stumbled upon this Slam Series as I was researching. Looks like a great bunch of races........ Not that I could even consider one this year.
Do you get excited when you plan out your race schedule?

I find this time of year particularly exciting. After two Winter races, I am recovering in the midst of the onset of Spring and am extremely pumped to have begun filling in the calendar for the rest of the year.

It was great getting to see both of you while you traveled through our great state. Sounds like you are jumping back into training with both feet. Good luck and hope to make it up to your neck of the woods one day!
Will there be another road trip in the future?
Ah, these are two of my favorite people! :0)
