This park has full hook up sites....... very few state parks have full hookups (It's a good thing).
There were raccoons......
And at least a dozen white tailed deer that grazed and frolicked in the park daily.
Sometimes they were hard to spot.
Other times they were just feet away.
There were tons of Turkey Vultures, Hawks and Cardinals.
Over the last 6 weeks I've been a huge slacker when it comes to any sort of training....... running these stairs was tough.
The park has great looking trees.
Lots of evidence of the wild animals.
Every night we heard a pack of coyotes making their rounds.
Not sure if it is the time of year, but I've never seen so many animals at a park.
If you plan on camping at State Parks in Texas make sure to buy a State Park Pass. It costs about $70 but pays for itself quickly with free admission and 4 50% off camping vouchers.
Hope everyone's enjoying the new year.
Gotta run.

Really enjoying the scenery at this park. Those deer are mighty comfortable. I was camping last month and the deer were coming right up to the camp fire.
Sadie must be enjoying herself - when does Gramma Alma come?
