I have never seen so many varieties of mushrooms in one place.
Some didn't look real.
I could probably spend a whole post on them........
But I won't.
Andrew was feeling well enough to travel yesterday so we packed up and headed out.
A kind gentleman brought over a tractor in case we got stuck in the muddy field.
The people at Penn Wood were so amazing........ made us feel so comfortable.
I think we will be hard-pressed to find another campground like it.
Made it through the field unassisted....... And we were off!
The drive was very long.......
But, we had good weather (had rained almost non-stop for a couple of days).
We made it to our new campground in Maryland around 7pm.
Looking forward to exploring.
That's all for now.
Gotta run.

You know I'm living vicariously through your adventures, right?
Love the pictures and the stories of your adventures.
Any races in your future?
Thanks Lisa!!!
I'm really greatful for the opportunity to be on this journey.
The world is such a beautiful and wonderous place...........
p.s. not planning any races.
Love the crazy mushrooms! Glad you got out of the field, safe traveling!
Your photographs are so beautiful, Stacey. The fall colours and the effects that you are using...perfectly captures the season and your journey.
Hope Drew's back is better.
