Be careful what you wish for........

This past Saturday was overcast and humid. I was about 9 miles into my 20 miler and saw a dark cloud coming my way. I hoped it would rain to cool me off.

Got my wish.

Was about 1.5 miles from home....... didn't want it to rain at that point......... Soaked to the bone by the time I got to the front door.

love how the farmer's fields look this time of year.

How do you feel about running in the rain?

Gotta run.

I ran LA this year. (1 inch of rain during the race)

Ran no longer bothers me. ;)

I don't mind running in the rain or snow for that matter. But I do find it easier if the precipitation starts AFTER I'm already out there. Heading out into it sometimes takes me a little extra effort.

It can be refreshing on shorter runs, but when it rains for an extended period of time and my feet are continuously wet = unhappy me. It can definitely be a confidence booster to get a tough workout in despite dealing with the elements.

I love rain so I usually love running in it.

Rain's my best friend. Most of my best times are in the rain. I'm pretty sure I need to add a duck to my list of power animals.

I just overheat so easily and it helps keep me cool. I end up soaked with sweat anyway, so it just helps me stay a "cool wet."

Sounds like fun! I will run in the rain if I'm out there when it starts!:) Good job!

If I'm out there already, I'll keep running--but it's not typical of me to start running in a downpour!

I love running in the rain! Unfortunately it's usually accompanied with thunder/lightning :(

I love running in the rain, but it's always so hard for me to get out the door when it's raining.

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier today. Good luck at your 100 miler - can't wait to hear about it!
