Physically, my legs felt like cement poles the entire run. Emotionally....That's a different story.
This past Wednesday, a very dear friend's son, took his own life. My heart has broken for the family. I can't believe that this has happened. I spent a good portion of my 10th mile sobbing and gasping for breath.
As I collected myself, I remembered that this is the American Thanksgiving weekend. I thought about how grateful I am for my family, friends, and those of you that take the time to read my blog. You make me feel like I matter.
In the grand scheme of things, I am a grain of sand in a desert. Thank you all so very much for taking the time to read my words, and adding your comments. You have touched me.
Please take a moment to be grateful for the people in your life.
Gotta run.
p.s. Photos were taken during the 10th mile.
