This article in Men's Journal caught my eye. I think that people can do some amazing things when they put their mind to it. I absolutely love the fact that when asked if he thought he would ever quit... he said no, but that it was basically from not wanting to be embarrassed about coming back after bragging about it for so long!!!

Gotta watch his botfly removal!

Love jungle adventures. Check out these two great true stories. The Lost City of Z by David Grann about Percy Fawcett and explorers in the Amazon basin and The Cloud Garden by Tom Hart Dyke the story of two men searching for orchids in the Darin Gap who are abducted by guerillas. The second is laugh out loud funny!
Thanks Juli, I'll check them out!
A great motivation technique I use myself, but it's amazing what creative excuses you can think up whilst going through a "dark patch". When you've nothing else to think about you can always come up with something to justify failure, and by the time you've come up with something plausible, you're usually feeling a whole lot better!!
Cheers

I was so intrigued that I dragged my wife up this mountain on our honeymoon!
She's a keeper!
Love the motivation technique Andy!
