I'm in a real funk!!!

First off, our very special Gailanne will be receiving a $25 gift card from Old Navy for her contribution to the "A Day in the Life" contest!!!!! I've got the contact info and I will ship it off tomorrow!

Here's the deal.... I have not been running for almost 3 weeks and it's killing me.

I have a blog that is dedicated to running and I am stuck on the sidelines. I have been eating, drinking and laying around like a sloth. I am not motivated to do anything.... I am in a real funk!!!! Once the weather gets nicer I think I may just curl up in a ball and fall into a coma (if I'm lucky).

I understand that people have "real" problems. Most people think that not being able to run 20 miles is a good thing. I just need a bit of time to wrap my head around this. I am an addict... I often wonder if I sneak in a 3 miler if I could get my fix?! Don't worry, I won't... at least not today :)

I love to run....
I love to run for the feeling of freedom that it gives me.

I love to run to be able to push my mental and physical limits.

I love to run to see and experience life, as it is around me.

I love to run to clear my head.

I love to run for all the people who can't.

I love to run because in those moments, I am truly at peace with myself.

I love to run for the exhilaration it brings.

I love to run because it creates order for me.

I love to run because it motivates me to be a better person.

I love to run because I feel like anything is possible when I am pounding the pavement.

I love to run for the camaraderie of it.

I love to run because it makes me.... ME.

I love to run because I love skorts, arm warmers, and all the great clothing items.

I love to run for fitness.

I love to run .... sometimes I can solve all the world's problems in my head.

I love to run for the therapy it provides.

I love to run because when I am running: I have no insecurities.

I love to run .... it is in my soul!
I love to run!!

Very well said, not being able to run is a real downer. Hope you can get your fix soon.

Agreed -- well said, and I really get it when you say that running makes you -- you. Hope you're back on track (!) soon!
