My schedule was a bit behind yesterday and I did not leave for my run until later in the day. I knew that it would get dark during my run. I dusted off my headlamp (shocked that the batteries still worked) and was good to go.
It started off as a usual run and then shortly after, started to get dark. I forgot how much I love running in the dark. I barely noticed that it was -8 degrees or that my nose was running. I just ran and watched the tiny snow flakes fall to the ground. It was peaceful and time almost seemed to stand still.
I love running in the dark :)
